Once a popular tourist rest stop that offered an IGA convenience store, fuel and a cafe, Macadamia House now sells macadamia nuts online - fresh from the farm for customers to buy. Macadamia House delivers Australia wide and internationally - it's the one stop macadamia shop so buy your macadamias online. In 2012 Macadamia House published a children's picture book - All Aboard the Nutmobile - the first in the Nutmobile series. The second book - 'The Harvest Race' - is due out in July 2013 and there will be many more nutty tales to follow.
Speaking of Nutmobiles, Nosh himself now resides at Macadamia House (in Bauple) and has become one of the many attractions the town has to offer. RV's can take advantage of the free camp site available and from there, are encouraged to explore the inland country roads to Rainbow Beach and Fraser Island. 4WDs recommended.
